Houston, we have lift off!

The electrician arrived bright and early this morning. I had to leave to run a few errands before he was finished. It took me longer than I expected. When I got home, the kiln was warm, and off. Tom had gotten a cone 019, put it in the kiln sitter, and fired it. He checked the elements and they all worked fine. Yay! I am now able to fire my own stuff at home here. I am so excited! Unfortunately, I have to leave in a few hours for the all church retreat, so play will have to wait until Monday...
