It is a lazy Saturday around here. Tom is digging in the garden, and may not agree with my adjective of lazy, however. I just got dried off after a 30 minute water jog. The water is cold, but very refreshing. I especially love what it does to my glucose levels. It is better than walking! I checked into Aqua-jogger belts, but can't bring myself to fork over $50 for a flotation device. I may try tying fun noodles around me. It would be a lot cheaper.
Monday night is the last leadership dinner at church until fall. It is also the day of the teacher appreciation luncheon. Then there is prep work for the arts festival, and getting the gallery stuff figured out. In addition, I am trying to keep up with the new wedding coordinator stuff I am taking on. School is out on the 19th, so I will need to finish up grading, cleaning out my room and all that goes with the end of the year, but the arts festival is the 20th... Heaven help me, but I don't know how I am going to take all the stress, and keep my glucose levels managed. Usually I love a challenge, but I have three books sitting here that I really want to read, in addition to a basket full of romance novels I COULD be reading that my daughter's mother in law left behind when they moved to Vermont a few weeks ago. Summer vacation can't get here fast enough to suit me.
So, a lazy Saturday afternoon...the calm before the storm that is next week....and the next....and the next...
