I think I am the poster child for diabetes self management...

I got a call from my doctor today. He had my glucose charts on his desk and was reviewing them and called just to tell me he was terribly impressed with me, and how well I was doing. (Tom thinks probably most folks are old and set in their ways when they are diagnosed and not willing to change....and of course I am old but not too set in my ways...) Anyway, he started me on a new med that might help negate the weight gain. I felt pretty good about the call. Its nice to have a doctor tell you he finds you impressive. It was encouraging. So, tonight I started the new med, and I am hoping it helps.
