Now I remember why I never go to the mall.

We went to the mall yesterday afternoon. First stop was AfterHours formal wear, so Tom, Justin and Igor could get measured for Tuxes. It floors me how much they charge for a tux! The total was $152 each. We then went to a few other stores. Only one stop to look at clothes for me, where I might find an outfit for the wedding. Instead, we ended up in jewelry stores, with Justin and Laura finally making a decision and buying their rings. They opted to spend more than they had planned to get the nicer, heavier rings. Justin was a bit surprised that his ring costed more than the one with little diamonds that Laura picked out. The salesman was very nice and had their in store jewelry repair and cleaning expert clean my ring for me. It is the ring Tom gave me for my 50th birthday. It sparkles again, and looks brand new. After we left the mall at 8pm, we headed over to the super Target, where they registered for the wedding. We wandered around Target with the scanner, while the two of them picked items for their gift registry. I shared my opinions freely...though I am not certain they appreciated them sufficiently. We got kicked out when Target closed at 10, so they will have to go back and add to the registry later. I don't think they got back into the electronics department, where they both had hoped to scan in a few video games. Kids!

I got home, and felt exhausted! I can't believe it took seven hours to accomplish so little. Was it the mall, or the company?
