Coffee House

Last night, my arts team at church did a coffee house. An up and coming band made up of church members played for part of the evening. The rest of the time, there were games on the tables, which were covered with butcher paper and supplied with crayons, and snacks. Tom served as Barrista and made espresso. The turnout was great! I can't wait to do it again. We need to figure out the snacks thing, as we asked for donations and did not cover what we spent, but it is all good. It won't break our budget...and we DID learn something useful for next time. (buy less! )

Today, I get to go shopping for an outfit for the wedding. I feel like a beach ball, so it will be interesting. I am leaning towards a fancy pants suit. I decided after looking at Ruth's wedding pictures the other night, I do NOT look good in a knee length skirt. I MUST hide my ankles!
