I got a call from the new doctor's office today. I had ridiculously high blood sugar levels. This is the first time I have had sugar problems, even though I have had insulin resistance for years. I am now considered a full blown diabetic. I have to monitor my sugar levels and report it every two weeks. Today, they freaked that my blood sugar levels were so high, and they gave me a shot of insulin. It did not help much.
I am not particularly upset, yet. If I can't get the blood glucose levels down, I will be upset then. In the meantime, I certainly could use some prayer.
