I went to Davens today. I love that place. It has tons of items to thrill the heart of a potter. I purchased 100# of grolleg porcelain, some glazes, a new glaze to test, and some brushes and tools. Then I got another yellow Mason stain to play with. On the way home, I kept thinking, do I really NEED all this clay? Could I make due with the glazes I have already? Seems every time I sell something, I find equal or more to spend the profits on!
Tonight, I opened one of the bags of porcelain, and threw plates. I forced myself to use the whole bag. I got 8, and ruined 2, so there are six. (reminds me of a story problem from second grade...)
Do I really NEED more clay? Who knows! I do have a bucket of slop that needs to be re-wedged so it can be used. I hate having to wedge up that stuff. I would gladly pay someone to do it for me.
Anyone need a few extra bucks? I got a job for you!
