Several years ago, I got a rather extreme haircut and donated about 14" of my hair to Locks Of Love. They take the hair and make it into wigs for cancer patients. I got the urge to change my hairstyle yesterday. I think I was thinking about Locks of Love because of the story I have been following about a young cancer patient. She had Ewing's sarcoma, and lost her battle Friday morning. She was able to see angels all around the house, and describe them to her family. She was diagnosed at the age of 2, and turned seven in April. I was overwhelmed with awe at the love God feels for children- so great that he would send angels ahead of time to help ease their fears of passing.
I went to the salon yesterday, and found my hair was long enough for Locks of Love, so it all came off. The cool thing is that they do not charge you for a haircut if you donate your hair. I did not expect that, but it was nice. So I am now sporting an extremely short 'do. It feels weird! But everytime I feel the shortness of it, I think of those angels and it makes me smile.

Awesome! Looks great, by the way... :) Do you have a link to that story??? Sounds interesting!
God bless,
Jon
Your new 'do is very cute!
And I love the reason for it! :)
