It has been a busy week.

Monday, I went to Clarkesville and fixed a meal for Justin's family while they were at his uncle's funeral. I enjoyed meeting the rest of the family. His other uncle from Virginia was in with his wife, and seeing the whole group together was interesting. I guess I try to be a student of human nature or something, because the interplay of personalities, and such, is fascinating to me. We got in late, and I was totally worn out. Kaeleb did not fall asleep in the car on the way home, as we had hoped. In fact, he fussed the last 30 minutes of the 90 minute trip. I guess he had had enough of the carseat by then.

Tuesday, I took it easy, napped, and went grocery shopping. Justin's parents came by for a bit to see Justin and Kaeleb, (Laura was at work) then they all went out to dinner together. The power went out for a few hours when it rained.

Wednesday, I went to water aerobics at the gym, and went and bought new fish for my new aquarium. We went to the cook out at church, which was a blast. I even got to snuggle the youngest member of the congregation, Doug and Vanessa's little Claire...

Thursday, I ran errands, did more grocery shopping, got in an hour of water aerobics and went with Tom to take his vehicle in for some work. I went out during the afternoon and photographed the gardenia blossoms next to the garage that Tom planted this winter. It is blooming a lot and smells heavenly. That is one of the blooms in the photo above.

Friday (today!) I did not have a car, since Tom took mine, so I spent the day in the garagio, glazing pots and loading up the kiln. Sarah and Marian joined me for the better part of the day and helped. The kiln just shut off, so it will be some time tomorrow afternoon before I can open it and see how the stuff looks. Can't wait! Just like Christmas!

Tonight, Laura and Justin went off with some friends to celebrate her 21st birthday, which was Tuesday. They left Kaeleb with me.

I think James will be back home in a day or two. Yay! I sure miss that boy when he is gone.

So, it has been a busy week for me. How was your week?

Ellen - I love the pic of the gardenia bloom. Mom had a bush outside our kitchen window growing up. Every summer the room was filled with that wonderful aroma. Thanks for sharing the wonderful pic. It brought back many memories.
