I opened the kiln. There were a few pieces that were ok, but I had a few disasters. I am VERY discouraged. I was hoping to have the one piece to fill a commission, and it developed a strange structural crack I can't explain. One of the glazes I used ran really bad. I have a hellava mess to chip off and grind down now. One of the glazes crawled really bad and ruined a nice pot. All in all, I would say the third glaze kiln was a total disaster.
I don't want to keep sinking money into something that has no potential. Maybe it is time I gave up this dream. I don't know...
