This was a slow week. Sometimes the muse just isn't all that active, and this was one of those weeks. We worked on skills...like pulling up skills. I had not gotten elbow height in at least 20 years...and I got over that! I used some new techniques I read about, and it was freaking awesome! I still have a long way to go to have total CONTROL at that height, but it felt good to have to stand up to pull the rest of the way up!
Over the past two weeks, when we were not working, Bonnie painted designs on the big pitchers I posted a picture of a while back. She fired them again, and here is a picture of one of the finished pieces.
We were so pleased with the pitchers, we made a few more!
It rained all night up there, and I was so relieved that the sky had cleared to a brilliant blue about the time I was climbing in the car and heading back.
And now I count the hours until I can head back up there and work again!
