Another week at the pottery studio....

This week was mug week. Mugs, mugs and stuff to go with them, like creamers and sugar bowls. I also made a few large pitchers, a casserole, and a plate. It was a productive week, with another kiln load of glazed stuff loaded, fired and unloaded. We got some gorgeous stuff...a real winner was Bonnie's pine design. It was awesome! She got a lacey looking red as well. We felt pretty good about what all we got done. I headed home this afternoon, after lunch, and just loved the gorgeous fall colors on the way. I have a list of things I want to accomplish for Christmas presents, and I am feeling really good about my craft. It is rejuvenating me in ways, and I am hoping I can more accomplished around the house, so I can eventually set up studio space in the garage, and work at home too. Very soon, one day a week is not going to be enough time. We are going to have to start packing stuff away to use for craft fairs in the spring. It will be great if we can sell stuff and make enough to pay for this expensive little addiction to clay we have!

In other news, the grandbaby is still the cutest baby in the world, and Tom is still the most awesome husband ever.... and life is good, even though there is too much going on, the cars cost too much to get fixed, I need a full time maid, and there are an awful lot of people getting on my last nerve. :)
