Today was a good day. Things just went well. I made a birthday cake for someone, and was so pleased that the icing turned out smooth like I try and make it. I have not had a really 'good' batch in a looonngggg time. The cake baked up beautifully even, and flat topped. I thought I was out of blue food coloring, but found a small vial of it that I did not know I had, that was JUST enough. I made a Georgia state flag, and it just turned out perfect. I was feeling pretty happy. The icing did not appeal to me, and so I hardly ate any of it! The weather was beautiful and I sat outside on the swing and knitted for maybe an hour. The cats thought there was something wrong with me, so they kept close to keep an eye on me. If I got up to go in for something, they followed me. It was so cute and endearing. And one of the best things that happened today was that Bellsouth came and fixed my phone! I am no longer receiving my neighbors caller ID, and the line doesn't buzz anymore! Awesome! I fixed a chicken stir fry for dinner, and it turned out well!
Spring is here, and the star magnolia is in bloom...
Yep, it was a good day.
God is good. I feel like today was a gift from God, just because he loves me.
