Athens...

Today was such a great day! sigh We got up early and drove to Athens for church. We got to see all kinds of old friends that we have not seen in ages. I had a wonderful time chatting with my dear old boss, Darwin, who owned the Christian bookstore I was manager of while Tom was in grad school. We got to visit with Dan O, and I spent a lot of time discussing knitting with Faith, the daughter of my dear friend Sue, who attends UGA, and lives in Dan's rental house. Going back to University Church is like going home. Its a place where I feel like I belong, and am loved, and accepted. That is such a great feeling. I think we need to go there more often.

I am really pushing to finish the blanket I am working on. Only 29 rows left! I can't wait. I have all these other projects I want to start, but I have told myself I can't do anything else until this project is completed. Self discipline. I don't come by it easily....
