Another lazy day...

We slept late and just goofed off most of the day. I was terribly excited to receive a big box of yarn I ordered over the weekend. Now I can start on Christmas presents! I am really enjoying knitting again. I wish I could tell my ex-sister-in-law how much I appreciate her having taught me when I was a teenager. I am just sorry I let so much time go by before I picked it up again. Today, I learned to use increases and decreases for special effects. I am feeling more and more confident with reading patterns too. At this rate, I may even undertake knitting a sweater! I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks!
