Ahhhh!

Yesterday, I drove up to Clarkesville and spent the day. It was wonderful to be back in the groove. We did not spend too much time working, but I did get glaze test strips done, and a utensil crock I have been trying to get done for a friend for a while. (it has cracked, blown up, and had a bad glaze job.....yesterdays attempt looks the best of all. I hope it makes it!) After lunch, we went out on an inspiration tour of the local potteries. Mark of the Potter is a wonderful place to walk around in. It is one of the best known pottery shops in the southeast. They have works by about 35 potters. We found lots to inspire us. We went on to another pottery, but they were closed and we ended up in a rock shop instead. Ruth was along, and she adores rock shops! She found some stuff to make jewelry with, so she was happy.

I came home last night and got in about 8. Next week, we begin my plans for what we focus on- January is plates and platters. I can't wait!

I feel like I am back up to speed, over that bug, and ready to take the bull by the horns and get something DONE.

Me too! My cold seems to be responding well thus far to Sudafed and NyQuil. :)
