Insanity

The next few weeks are insane. We take our mini vacation, and come back to Vision Sunday at the church, LCM, then a wedding I am coordinating for the church, then another mini vacation. I hope the stress does not raise my blood sugar levels. I have to go in for lab work smack in the middle of all that stuff.

I spent some time yesterday trying to decide what to paint next. I kind of like these grapes I did. I am working on a cafe' scene from Corfu that I got from my friend in Wales, Barbara. I have a few photos I am considering...a magnolia, a tiger lily, a picture of Ruth as a baby and a beach scene picture that James took in California. Still thinking...but it is loads of fun! I need to use up my pastels so I can justify buying more. I found a brand I really like..but they are really expensive. I can understand now why artists charge so much for their pastel paintings. I wish I could sell some stuff, but I am not good enough. Maybe some day....
