Home again, home again, jiggety jig!

We went to Moultrie to visit Tom's mother for a few days. It was a very nice break...peaceful, restful and quiet for me, and a working vacation for Tom. His momma had him up in the pecan trees cutting branches all day Friday. I stayed inside and knitted. I got about half way with the next Christmas afghan. It is looking nice, and I am anxious to finish it now.

We are having a large crew over for Thanksgiving. I am cooking...pork roast, potato dumplings, sauerkraut...sounds delish to me. Not traditional, but pretty good. When one has had food poisoning from turkey, it is not very welcome on the table- even for Thanksgiving!!
