I really had hoped to get on here and post yesterday that I had the job at the school. They did not call me though. I imagine it has a lot to do with two things: first, they were waiting on a reference from the last school I taught at, and they are notorious for not responding in a timely fashion, and second, the lady who was to call me was dealing with her husband having surgery, so that probably factors in. In the meantime, I am tentatively planning on teaching tomorrow, and trying to plan out my lessons. I am waiting to purchase books I want until I know I for sure have the job. I want to run out and buy supplies, but again, I am waiting until its definitely mine.
Last night, Tom asked me why I had not blogged lately. I told him I was not going to until he did...but I lied. Sorry! :)
