After a very dry spring, it seems to be raining a good bit. We have had a few really good rainfalls the past week. In fact, it seems to have rained a bit every day. I am sure not enough to catch up the shortfall, but it is helping. My cucumbers lately have been more cucumber like and less lacy and dry. It is a good thing! I am not going to complain, but it sure puts a damper on my pool time. I can do water aerobics in the rain. I don't mind, but thunder and lightning nescessitate removing one's self from the pool.
I have some handles to pull this morning. I am working on a prototype for a travel mug, and considering a few other projects..like trying my hand at lamps.
I leave for Chicago to visit my sisters and some family (like my last surviving aunt) in two weeks. I am not sure about my substitute teaching job. It may not work out, but that is another post's subject.
