Hey! You forgot your coffee on the roof!

This morning, I drove to the school with my son, who then took my car to work. He does this silly trick that had us laughing to bust our guts all the way to school. He works on computers, and took out two very strong magnets from an old hard drive. He dropped these into a Dunkin Donuts coffee cup he had emptied, and replaced the lid. Then, he put the cup on the roof of my car, where it stays perfectly due to the incredibly strong magnets. Want to have some fun? Try this! People stare, start pointing, waving…whatever. Two ladies out walking in the neighborhood about had a stroke! They stopped, waved (we of course waved back politely!) watched us go by, hands to their mouths…I watched them in the rear view mirror, wickedly enjoying their horrified expressions. My son did this the other night..and someone rolled down their window and got his attention. He rolled down his. “Hey”, the other driver called, “You left your coffee on the roof!” “Oh!, thanks! I know! I was just cooling it off!” my son replied, hitting the gas. Anyway, it lightened my day to laugh all the way to school.

My toes feel like I dropped an anvil on them, being pinched inside my shoes, poor things. I really hate shoes! Someone tell me why schools are so hung up on shoes? Does it really matter? Is it worth it to smash my feet into shoes, just to teach a bunch of unappreciative kids art?

Did I mention, I hate shoes? I do!
